Tiger Zane: news

Arriving In Nashville - April 27, 2011

Good morning everybody! It is about 11am Nashville time and I'm sitting in our sweet upstairs bedroom listening to distant thunder and the singing of birds! There is a sweet fragrance of honeysuckle and green floating in the open door of our little balcony and the soft sound of rain. I am looking out into an enormous back yard with huge walnut and oak trees... So beautiful!

Last night there were tornado watches in the area; lightning flashed and thunder rolled out over the night... I lay and listened to it too excited to sleep! We went out to Broadway street where there are at least 30 or 40 music joints and all full of people and live bands on a Tuesday night! Whoa! We went in to a couple of places and then strolled jacket less down streets lined with trees and Christmas lights before coming home.

Our hosts Nell and Michael are very welcoming and kind. I have already had several cups of tea with cream and honey to start off the day. Then spent some time practicing guitar and singing on the back deck. The thunder is so loud now that the windows are shaking! We are off to start tracking... More later! So grateful to be here! Love Tiger

Going to Nashville this April!!! - March 3, 2011

Exciting and happy news! I have booked my flight and scheduled time to start recording my new album in Nashville! I've been wanting to do this for a couple of years and finally the time is right! My plan is to record 5 songs and possibly more depending on how much money I can raise!

As of today I am launching my fundraising website Please check it out and stay tuned for continuing news. I had a blast making my first ever video to explain what I am doing.

I'll be posting updates and blogging and tweeting and all the rest of it!

More Tiger Zane on TV! Yay! - May 5, 2009

Here's a fun bit of news! Last month I was asked to write the music for and sing a jingle for the Seattle Mariner's!

I performed it with the help of Dennis Tevlin (check him out at his band website: The Bouchards) on guitar and bass.

The ad will run from today (May 5th) on for about 3 weeks and has an old time country flavor. Look for it on Fox-- it is for Mariner's Train Car Night! Maybe I'll see you at a game!

Tiger Zane and Band at Crossroads Mall in Bellevue - April 9, 2009

We've just been offered a show at the Crossroads Mall in Bellevue on Saturday April 18th. We are replacing another act that wasn't able to make it.

This show will be a lot of fun because it is all ages! Bring the family and we'll see you there! Look for the details in the calendar section!

Tiger Zane on the radio and TV! - March 26, 2009

Starting March 30th, Seattle's Emerald Downs Race Track is launching a 6 month ad campaign designed around the 80's hit "Break My Stride". I was invited to do my acoustic "folky" version of the song and will be the only female artist featured in the campaign! The song will be aired on Seattle stations KZOK, KMTT, KMPS, KISW, STAR 101.5, WARM 106.9 and more!

With my friend and fellow musician Ryan Foxley of Arlington and Sage Studios we had a blast at Clatter and Din, recording the song. Ryan accompanied me on guitar, mandolin and violin; we both did back up vocals. Eric Johnson played some rhythm on a pumpkin rattle! We were filmed during the recording process as well so look for us on TV! Here is the link to Emerald Downs website:
